What it does Why we built it How it works Sign in

Deleting your account removes you from Threadspore: your name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and settings. Your teams keep the messages you wrote, so the group's record of what was decided stays whole; your name on them is marked as a deleted account.

How it works

What is deleted, and what stays

Deleted: your account, your sign-in email, your phone number, your profile picture and color, your notification settings, and your membership in every organization and team.

Stays: messages, to-dos, poll votes, and photos you posted inside your teams. They belong to the team's shared record, and taking them out would leave holes in conversations other people rely on. Your name beside them shows as a deleted account. If you want a specific message gone, delete it yourself before your account closes; you can delete your own messages at any time.

If you run an organization, hand it to another coordinator first (Volunteers in the app, or the organization settings on the website), so your group is not left without one.
